When designing the second poster for out thriller, i researched different films and there posters that relate to our movie idea and also from the movies we got our inspiration from to come up with our idea (paranormal activity, shutter island, women in black etc). I used this research to find the important things to include in a movie poster, one being the name of the movie, the tag line, and the production information about who made the film. Using this information i found images that relate to our thriller movie.
After finding these images i then used PicMonkey to edit the pictures to make the poster to fit the codes and conventions of a thriller movie and then i also added the text that i found out was important in a movie poster from researching other thriller posters, i added the name we gave our thriller, the production company website, the makers and producers of the film and also the tagline we made for our film.
