We researched other film production company logos to find out what sort of images they used in the logo. as all the other logos have lots of bold writing and the name of the company is the thing that stands out over the rest of the image, we decided to make ours very bold. The film role in the background of our logo come from the 'New Line Cinema' because the film roll they used represents what the company does and is about, we wanted this clear statement to stand out in our logo for people to recognise our logo as it is quite simple. A lot of the famous logos have clouds in the background, we decided not to used that idea in our logo because we wanted to stand out from the other logos already made. We decided to use silk productions as our name as its made up of the begging of our names (Stephanie, Isla, Louise, Kayleigh) we got this ideas from the 'Warner Brothers' because it's very simple like our logo and is easy to remember and different from the other companies. The companies we researched are quite different as they have names representing films, for example 'Universal' representing films are for everyone and 'Dream Works' representing films come from imagination of peoples thoughts made into a film.
